FST’s board of directors/trustees meet on a regular basis and provide strong governance for the organisation to ensure that it meets its aims and objectives and complies with its regulatory obligations. Board members bring to FST a diverse range of experience from public and private sectors.
Carol is a member of FST’s workforce and a mental health service user. Her personal insight into mental health and how to manage it in order to sustain work has helped inform the development of FST’s services.
Dick is a specialist in forensic mental health having worked for many years at Broadmoor High Secure Hospital. He also has extensive experience of health and safety through his involvement with Prison Officers Association and his role as Chair of FST’s Health and Safety committee.
A solicitor with many years’ experience, Amanda is recognised by Chambers and Partners as a leading specialist in Employment Law. She works with a diverse client base including national and international companies as well as charities. Amanda is also an experienced lecturer in this field and has published articles on topical issues of employment law and discrimination.
Previously FST’s Director of Health and Safety for over 10 years, Sally joined the board in 2011. Her appointment demonstrates the emphasis that FST places on the importance of a safe but empowering working environment. Sally has extensive experience of both the voluntary and arts sectors.
