Below is a showcase of our success stories.
Laura's Story
Laura came to First Step Trust for a course, after facing significant long-term mental health challenges, including a period in hospital.
She joined SMaRT Garage Services as a trainee and quickly discovered a passion for working on vehicles.
Today, Laura is the Lead Trainer at SMaRT Garage Services.
Lio's Story
Lio was referred to First Step Trust by his support worker, after a few difficult years that had affected his confidence, mental health and education.
Today, Lio has a full-time job at Halfords Autocentre, one of the biggest garage and tyre retail chains in UK.
